WELLLLLLL...... it is the twenty-sixth of two-thousand-thirteen (is anyone saiding that? I'm saying twenty-thirteen, but you know, some grammar freaks have to say two-thousand-thirteen).
Anyways... I like a new year cause that shows promise, because we can start over, but technically no. Because we can't run from our lives. I hate being sentimental, but.
Sorry peeps...Azalea cutting in...anyways, to continue Hayden's sentiments, I would like to say that yes, a new year does start new things and...break things apart. New lives form, old ones fall into the "do you remember" times. Of course, this is the eternal cycle of all things which is why we do have memories. Memories that safeguard the past, that reminds us everyday of who we are. However, there are times when I (and I'm sure all of you) would wish that those times were still now instead of then. Well, the past is the past and there is no looking back now.

I found this while looking through old blog posts... Well, now this ^^ can apply to 2014. And we have changed a lot since then ^^. And, now is the time to carry this over to my own blog when I have time... *sigh* Why are we getting older?
ReplyDeleteI really wish we weren't. Youth is ephemeral...
